Introducing...Kelly Williams
Kelly Williams, Barbour's Senior Managing Editor
How long have you worked at Barbour? This is my tenth year.
What has been the biggest change (hopefully positive!) you’ve seen in your years with the company? Growth in the editorial department.
What is your favorite task associated with your job description? Managing people.
Are there any areas under your supervision in which you’re actively searching for new projects? Not at the moment. Most of the projects under my supervision are concepts I develop in-house...then I assign the projects to freelance writers.
What project is consuming your energies this month? Three daily devotionals for women are taking up most of my time this month.
Do you ever find time to read for pleasure? If so, what book have you read recently? With two-year-old twins, I don’t have much free time to read at home. I do enjoy reading Parenting magazine articles, though (after the kids are in bed!).
Can you tell us briefly about your family? If you feel comfortable, please share the unique way your family was built. I’ve been married to my husband, Kirk, for five years. We have two-year-old twins—a girl, Kiley, and a boy, Keane). I discovered after three miscarriages that I would never be able to carry a baby full-term. My sister-in-law volunteered to carry a baby for us. . .and the rest is history! The twins are our little miracles!
What church do you attend? NewPointe Community Church
Do you have a favorite work-related quote that motivates you these days?
“When we do the best we can, we never know what miracle is wrought in our life or in the life of another.”

Hi, Kelly. thanks for letting us get to know you better. Congratulations on your miracle baby. God bless you all.
Kelly, 2 yo twins?!? I know they are just adorable and doubly treasured because you went through so much before they came into your life.
I enjoyed learning a little about your role at Barbour.
Hi Kelly, it really is good to have a face to go with your name! Thanks for letting us know a little more about your position at Barbour and your family. What a wonderful sister-in-law--and what a blessing that the Lord saw that you had two babies! What a beautiful story.
I love meeting the people from Barbour. Thank you guys for doing this.
Kelly,
I have a two-year-old granddaughter, and she keeps me moving. I can't imagine two at once. We'd love to see a picture of them. It's nice putting a name with a face.
I'm having a wonderful time reading these posts about the folks at Barbour! Susan, this is a great idea.
Kelly, you're a doll--you sure don't look like you have two-year-old twins! Where are the bags under your eyes? The paperclip stuck to your forehead because you nodded off for just a moment at your desk--ON your desk? The gummy bear gooed in your hair?
You're great!
Wow, nice to meet you Kelly.
