Feedback Friday

Here's some great feedback from a lovely card we received:

"Dear Friends in Christ,

I want to tell you how very much I am enjoying reading your Christian books. I find them more realistic than other Christian fiction....

We need more Christian literature for those of us who prefer reading rather than TV and movies. Your books present God as loving and worthy of our worship without pulpit pounding and denominationalism.

As someone who loves to read, I salute you for filling a great void and doing it very well! The low prices are frosting on the cake!

God's blessings,
Margaret"

Thanks so much to Margaret for sending us this beautiful card and feedback!

This is the kind of feedback that keeps many of us writing. Thanks for sharing, JoAnne.

We do strive for realism. (I just saw a bunch of you roll your eyes at me.) :-) LOLOL

I love working with all of you to produce quality, life-changing fiction. Which Heartsong is. Thank you for the opportunity!

HEY! Why is there a mailbox cemented into the middle of the sidewalk? Has anyone actually seen this in real life?? I don't know, I'm a country girl. Mailboxes are just on the side of the road. But in town, isn't there usually a tree lawn or something between the sidewalk and the curb if the area is suburban enough to even have mailboxes...?

I love reading feedback that reminds us that our writing is so much bigger than ourselves. When a book goes out to readers, it becomes their storyworld to see and interpret for themselves.

Dead humbling.
