Feedback Friday

Here's some great feedback from a young reader of A Hero for Her Heart by Candice Speare and Nancy Toback:

"I just finished reading your book A Hero For Her Heart. My English professor let me borrow it as an example of fiction writing because I'm a legal studies major taking a creative writing fiction course for an elective. I haven't read much fiction. The story really touched me and you have an amazing gift to write. I can see why you were recommended. Your book truly did touch me and it made me wonder if I will ever get to live, I'm a 19 year old college student and I was a victim of abuse and I've always wondered if God could really love people like me who grew up as I did. I wonder if God will give me the strength to make it through the upcoming trial with my parents and stuff. I just wanted to say I really enjoyed your book and it touched my heart. Thank you."

Wow. First it's awesome to know there are English Professors out there who read Heartsongs. Second that a book can touch a young soul like this. Wow.

Thanks so much for sharing this touching letter. It's wonderful to hear how God used this book to help the writer of that letter. How exciting to team up with God to give courage and hope to hurting hearts.
Thanks!
Carrie
