Cowboys and Christmas!

This woman is a book-writing machine, always turning out one great story after another.

Mary Connealy's most recent release combines the romantic allure of an Old West cowboy with the setting of a Rocky Mountain Christmas.

A secretive singer reawakens a cowboy’s wounded heart at Christmastime.

Singer Annette Talbot used her voice to spread the gospel with a traveling missionary troupe. When the Latrells take over and want Annie to dress provocatively and give up singing her beloved hymns, Annie flees to Ranger Bluff, Wyoming, dreaming of reuniting with her father for Christmas. But trouble chases her—right off the edge of a cliff!

Elijah Walker’s heart turned as cold and barren as the high plains in December after his ex-fiancĂ©e betrayed him and caused his father’s death. But when he rescues Annie out of a freezing river, Walker’s instincts tell him he must help her.

With her hermit father retreating to the high country and the Latrells intent on kidnapping her to make money off her singing, Annie may have no way out.

Has Annie hidden the truth about wanted posters bearing her face too long for anyone to believe her now?

Can Elijah overcome the pain from the past and learn to love again?

Will there ever be peace in their hearts in time for Christmas?

Since I'll be heading out of town for the ACFW conference, you have until Monday the 21st at 9:00 am to enter a comment along with email address for a chance to win this book.

Rush out and get this one! One of my favorites of Mary's stories, it will get you in the Christmas spirit while tickling your funny bone at the same time. Great job, Mary, as usual! Hey, maybe next year you could do a sequel called "Cowgirl Christmas." Just be sure to watch the year the story is set in as you know what M-W online say... :)

Anything Mary writes is fantastic! It's like a delightful commercial break in the middle of life, or...like chocolate after a garden salad :-)

I just had my local bookstore order this book - can you believe they didn't have it?(gasp)

I'd love to add this book to my Connealy library.

I've looked every where for this book--especially last week! I've teased Mary about this before but every time I was reading one of Mary's books, a member of my family ended up in surgery! In fact, when I had my gallbladder surgery last year, I asked the doctor to wait until I had reached the chapter break before wheeling me in.

I spent last week with my MIL after she had surgery but couldn't find this book. So please consider me for the book and let's break this pattern!

Hi, Sorry to be slow to check in. I spent a long weekend at a writer's conference, nagging Aaron to let me use the word COWGIRL. I keep wanting to do it my way and he keeps insisting I do it RIGHT.

I saw Becky Germany and JoAnne Simmons and had a great chance to talk with both of them. And Susan Downs who I miss hearing from on Edit Cafe and sooooooooooooo many writer friends.

Lots of classes. I may have even learned a few things, though I did my best to avoid such a painful experiences.

I had a lot of fun writing this book. I hope you all enjoy it. Good luck in the drawing.

AND
HAPPY BIRTHDAY RENEE!

Patty, if you can't find my books in a bookstore. I give you permission to drop to the floor and scream until they agree to order it. Hold your breath. Kick the floor a little.

Call the newspaper before hand, too.

Uh, don't mention this blog. Pretend like it was your own idea.

oh no! I didn't see this blog until just now so I guess I am too late to enter it?!
