12 Stories in One Book?

How can you possibly fit 12 complete stories into one book?

Well, Barbour found a way!

We took 12 previously published romance novellas around 20,000 words each and put them into a lovely hardbound omnibus collection with dust jacket.

We picked some of the most favored authors and stories from America's historic prairie settings and titled it The Prairie Romance Collection. The book makes an awesome gift or collectible that is sure to bring hours of reading pleasure.

Stories include:
After the Harvest by Lynn A. Coleman
Love Notes by Mary Davis
Mother’s Old Quilt by Lena Nelson Dooley
The Tie That Binds by Susan K. Downs
A Heart’s Dream by Birdie L. Etchison
The Bride’s Song by Linda Ford
The Barefoot Bride by Linda Goodnight
Prairie Schoolmarm by JoAnn A. Grote
The Provider by Cathy Marie Hake
Returning Amanda by Kathleen Paul
Freedom’s Ring by Judith McCoy Miller
Only Believe by Janet Spaeth

If you would like to win a copy, just put your name (and email) in the comments before Monday the 18th for a drawing.

You know those short stories that are packaged with each shipment of the HPs, you oughta make about book out of them. Aren't they around 12000 words each? How long have you been doig that though, maybe you don't have enough.

If you did, those would make fufn, fast reads

Hi Becky, This is a great idea! It will be so interesting to see how this book does. Hope it will lead to more 12-story collections. How about 12-Christmas stories?

On another note, I visited our local Sam's club today and saw a ton of Barbour books displayed. That was so exciting! What a great place to connect with potential readers.
