Guest Blogger Jodilyn Simmons on Easter Fun

My mommy said some of her author friends have been asking for more pictures of me, so here are some of my Easter fun!

Here are some of the eggs we colored the day before Easter. I colored the ones on the right all by myself with Crayola markers. Now when I want to use my markers I ask for eggs, too!

Here I am getting ready for church on Easter morning. I decided to be really good and not fuss while Mommy did my hair. That was my Easter present to her.

Here I am at church eating a snack and playing with a new toy.

Here I am with Mommy in our yard after church.

Here I am with Daddy. Mommy and I think he's very handsome.

Did you know some eggs have candy inside?

And here I am with my brand new golf clubs!

As you can see, I had a lot of fun this Easter. And Mommy tells me it's all to celebrate Jesus. I'm just learning about Him and how much He loves me. He sure sounds like a Good Guy! I hope you had a good Easter celebrating Him, too.

Jodi, Jesus sure is a Good Guy. The best!

You're an absolute Easter beauty! I think your mom (pretty lady!) and dad (handsome man!) are very lucky to have you.

Easter hugs to the Simmons family--and to all within the Barbour family, too.

He is risen! Alleluia!

You are such a cutie, Jodi, but you are making me miss my little granddaughter like crazy! I bet you two would have lots of fun together. Pink is her favorite color and she loves to dress up!

Sorry I'm late to the party.

Jodilyn, the eggs are beautiful, and so was your hairdo.

It took me a long time to solve the mystery of which eggs had candy inside and which ones had a yolk inside!

Hi, Jodi
What a wonderful post. I'm glad you had a wonderful Easter with your mommy and daddy. Easter is just as importnat as Christmas to us because we learn just how much Jesus loves us. I'm glad you're learning that too. You looked very pretty in your blue dress. I'm sending you a cyber-hug from Granma Rogers.

JoAnne, you remember that my great grandson and Jodilyn are almost the exact same age.

On Easter, my granddaughters were so excited to do an egg hunt with him. It was raining, so it had to be inside. We "hid" the eggs in plain sight.

Sebastian picked up the first egg. When He was going to put it in his bucket, it came open spilling jellybeans all over. He wouldn't even look at any other eggs. He just kept eating those jelly beans. The girls had to bring the eggs to him.
