A Series Ends with a Bang!

Mary Connealy ends her first full-length series -- Lassoed in Texas -- with loads of laughs.

Romantic Times reviewer Patsy Glans gave it 4.5 stars, saying, "It's filled with joy, love, tenderness, a lot of laughter and characters who grow in their faith."

One of the interesting historical elements the book addresses is the orphan trains.
All aboard for a delightful, suspense-filled romance, where a Texan is torn between his attraction to a meddlesome schoolmarm and the charms of a designing dressmaker. When Hannah Cartwright meets Grant, she’s determined to keep him from committing her orphans to hard labor on his ranch. How far will she go to ensure their welfare? Grant is determined to provide a home for the two kids brought in by the orphan train. Can he keep his ragtag family together while steering clear of love and marriage?
Be sure to pick up this book, and stay tuned for the first in Mary's Montana Marriages series.

And if you want to win a copy, leave a comment to be entered in a drawing. Remember, you can only get your book if I know where to send it, so check back by Monday (the 9th) for the winner.

Am I eligible? I loved the first two in this series--in fact, I haven't seen anything yet from Mary that I didn't like!

Count me in, if you can!

You don't have to enter me for the book as amazon should be winging it toward my hot little hands any day now, but I wanted to give Mary a shout.

I LOVE this series. Calico Canyon was the best book I read in 2008.

Can't wait to ignore the rest of my life and delve into Gingham Mountain.

Becky, you don't need to enter me, either, as I will be getting a copy, but I just had to say what a great book this is! As usual, Mary has penned a great romance with lots of laughs and even more heart. I, as every reader will, especially loved seeing the hero create this special family unit. I was so privileged to copyedit these books. "Gingham Mountain" is definitely another winner!!! Way to go, Mary!

I'd love to be entered.

This sounds like a great book. I'm intrigued by all that went on surrounding the orphan trains, which I only recently learned about.

Hey, fun, I was slow getting over here.

I hope you all like it. I had so much fun with this one. Grant may be my favorite hero ever and poor Hannah, so used to being meek, for some reason, arguing with Grant makes her FEARLESS.

And the book goes to Cathy Shouse!
