Cast off on a Tropical Adventure

I've been rather lax in telling you about new book releases. There is still time to grab some last-minute Christmas gifts, so let me tell you about our exciting November release in the full-length fiction line.

A Stormy Romance Rages along the Florida Keys

Isabelle Gayarre is a desperate woman, so desperate that she’s willing to stake her freedom—and her life—on a man she’s never met. She has to. Isabelle is determined to reach abolitionists in England, and this voyage aboard the Jude is her only chance. Can Isabelle take her first great leap of faith and trust in a godless sea captain?

Josiah Carter is running from his Heavenly Father—and his earthly one—when he falls in love with the one woman whose presence could lead him back to both. Unfortunately, she’s a runaway slave and can never be his, legally or otherwise. What will it cost Josiah as he navigates his way through dangerous waters in order to ensure her freedom?

Thrown together on a doomed voyage upon a tumultuous sea, Isabelle and Josiah battle fire, storms, faith, deception, and their love for each other. Can God produce a miracle to save them, or will their lives and love be dashed upon the jagged rocks of the Fairweather Keys?

Kathleen Y’Barbo enchanted me with the depth and resolve of her characters, with a heated romance that began in the first chapter, and a plot that kept me guessing up to the very last page. Excellent writing and historical detail combine to make this a story worth reading and enjoying again and again.
~ M. L. Tyndall, author of the Legacy of the King’s Pirates

Masterfully drawn characters, a unique historical setting, and an intricately woven plot make Kathleen Y’Barbo’s Beloved Castaway an entertaining, engrossing tale of God’s redemptive work in human lives. A wonderful read!
~ Kim Vogel Sawyer, author of the Sommerfeld trilogy

Hey I bought this one and I can't wait to read it. Also, i just now learned about the Yours Truly book club where members get the books directly instead of having to go to the bookstore!

Of course, I joined!

I just finished Beloved Castaway. I think Kathleen came up with one of the most interesting engrossing plots ever with this one.
I loved it.

I featured Kathleen with an interview featuring this book in October, but didn't read it until after that.

When I did read it, I was very impressed--the writing, the plot, the characters, the plot twists.

I did a review on Shoutlife and it will appear in my January newsletter on my web site.

I love Kathleen's writing, and this crowns them all.
