We received word today that author Kristy Dykes is being tested for a brain tumor. Sounds like it may be large and malignant. She could use all the prayer support that we can send her way. She lives in Florida and has several family members traveling in to be near her.

How awful. She's in my prayers.
My first ACFW conference in Houston, Kristy was the first writer I met. I walked into the hotel after circling about thirty times wishing I had one friend there with me. God put Kristy in a chair next to me in the lobby, she introduced herself and her sweet spirit calmed my nerves. Since then, I've worked with her on the FHL newsletter and she's one author I can always email if I need encouragement, advice, or a question answered. I appreciate and admire her so much.
She's in my heart and in my prayers.
I met Kristy at the Florida Christian Writer's Conference in 2006. She was so sweet and personable to me, a newbie of the first water. I will be praying for her.
