I get so excited when one of my guys or gals learns to love to read!!! I have copies of my books (along with a TON more) on my bookshelf. I get really tickled when one of my students picks one up to read. Though almost all of them inevitably put it back, I did have one gal this year who became a Heartsong reader. :-DJennifer Johnsonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11133460183163809626noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5157905786947425443.post-33939674495449070532008-05-31T19:18:00.000-04:002008-05-31T19:18:00.000-04:00Erica, Thank you so much! She has some delayed development from a history of seizures and I think she gets discouraged by her academic struggles. I thank God she no longer has the seizures and doesn't need meds, but school remains a daily challenge.

By the way, I love lighthouses and I thought it looked like a photo I have on my work computer.

Thank you, JoAnne!Jennifer Taylorhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06360330085131177132noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5157905786947425443.post-68481312733930213942008-05-31T14:07:00.000-04:002008-05-31T14:07:00.000-04:00Jennifer, please email me your mailing address to ...Jennifer, please email me your mailing address to editcafe@barbourbooks.com

Thanks!JoAnnehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16027015583205497259noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5157905786947425443.post-5836783493462000442008-05-31T13:55:00.000-04:002008-05-31T13:55:00.000-04:00Yep, it's Blue's Clues, and that's sweet of you, E...Yep, it's Blue's Clues, and that's sweet of you, Erica, to give the prize to Jennifer if she wants it!

I used to have DEAR time in school, too. How fun! It's great to think of a big football player reading one of her books and enjoying it so much. I am glad teachers are requiring reading time for students.
