Prairie Promises

The interest in the American prairie lifestyle is still alive and well among fiction readers. And as you could tell from Kelly Eileen Hake's guest blog, she knows how to put herself back in time and literally into the shoes of her characters and their trials.

Just in time for Christmas, the last of the Prairie Promises series will be releasing. In case you missed one, let me recap them all for you.

The Bride Bargain
When Clara Fields and her aunt are kicked off their wagon train, a store owner in Buttonwood, Nebraska, offers a chance at redemption. Desperate for a home and a future for herself and her aunt, Clara strikes a bargain with the lonely trader to fool a head-strong doctor that could lead Clara to an unexpected avenue of romance.

The Bride Backfire
Opal Speck, whose folks have been maintaining a tenuous peace with the Grogan family, tells an outrageous lie to save Adam Grogan's life. Will her desperate declaration keep him alive, or will she end up with blood on her hands along with a soiled reputation?

The Bride Blunder
Gavin Miller comes to Buttonwood looking to build more than a business. As soon as he’s able, he writes home to request the hand of the woman he’s always wanted. Unfortunately, while he never forgot Marguerite was the French word for Daisy, he’d failed to recall that Marge was the nickname of the wrong Miss Marguerite Chandler! When his surprise bride comes to Buttonwood, unexpectedly followed by the very cousin he’d meant to marry, will Gavin be able to make amends and solve The Bride Blunder?

So, in the Christmas spirit of giving, I'll do a drawing in which we'll give away one complete series set to one winner, then we'll pick a couple extra names to receive a copy of The Bride Blunder. Comment here--include your email contact--by Friday the 4th at 4 pm EST to be in the drawing.

Please enter me in the drawing. I really enjoyed Kelly's post about antiques and inspiration. It's always fun to get a "behind the scenes" look at the writing of the book.

Please enter my name in the drawing. I am definitely a "Prairie Woman". I love the American Old West of the 1800's. In my heart and mind I am very connected to this place and time. I almost feel as though I lived there very happily with the love of my life and my family : )

Awesome giveaway, ladies!

I've only read the first book (my sister let me borrow hers), but I can't wait to find out what happens in the other two.

I would love to win either the series, or just The Bride Blunder. :)

Thank you so much!
Merry Christmas to everyone!
