A Prayer Request

Please pray for my nephew (age 26).

July 16, he had a motorcycle accident near Lake Wales, FL. His helmet saved his life, but he has been in ICU ever since, dealing with spiking pressure in the brain. They've tried different coma induced therapies. Yesterday they did surgery to open a small part of the skull and removed a blood clot. His situation is still very serious.

We are blessed that both Aaron and his wife (of just 1.5 years) know the Lord and trust His will.

Thanks,
Becky

Becky, I will be keeping Aaron, his wife, and all your families in my prayers--please keep us updated.

He's so young.

Becky,
Hugs and prayers for Aaron and his family. I have been in a similar situation with one of my sons so I know how difficult the waiting is. And how close God is at such times.

Hi Becky,
I will pray for Aaron and his wife. I am so sorry to hear about his accident. A young man in our church was just injured in a motorcycle accident this week. His injuries are much less serious, but I can imagine how difficult this must be for everyone.

Nothing new to report, though he is showing slight signs of improvement.

Now my mom's health is not doing very good, and we are seeking the right treatments for her.

Oh, Becky, doesn't it seem like if it's not one thing, it's another?

Or, as Mother Theresa so succinctly put it, "I know God will not give me anything I can't handle. I just wish that He didn't trust me so much."

I love that line, because there isn't a time in my life when I haven't felt like that (although there is one memorable couple of weeks where I did feel like I was being targeted...). It's reassuring to know that Mother Theresa felt just as overwhelmed with "stuff" as I do.

I'll try to lighten your load a bit with a whole lotta prayer, Becky!

Becky,

I will be praying for Aaron and his wife. I am also praying for wisdom in the doctors and guidance with their hands as they perform surgeries, ect... Such a sad situation, and scarey.

Blessings,
Lucie

Still nothing new on Aaron. He is holding his own as they slowly start to bring him out of coma and warm his body out of a hypothermia treatment.
